Man... Your work is top shelf. You may want to consider adding a couple of filters to your exhaust fans to make them last a little longer. I use Urechem as well, but never the 210 (usually use SPI universal). How does it compare to the medium solids 410?

Tengo una pregunta a hacerle ya que no consigo por ninguna parte (en UA-cam) una respuesta precisa. El varnis del capó y el techo de mi vehículo está bastante dañado pero he decidido de pintar el vehículo entero del mismo color,el varnis del resto del vehículo está en buen estado .Mi pregunta es: Aparte del techo y capó que está dañado ,es que Tengo que quitar el varnis del vehículo entero o puedo lijar un poco el que está bien y pintar sobre el ? FYI if the clear does not recommend reducer......you should NEVER reduce it. Only reduce clear coats that are 1. High Solids 2. manufacturer specifically says the amount you should reduce it. 3 Never reduce it more than the label says......If you do not do all of these things it will SHORTEN THE LIFE of the CLEAR......Call ANY company representative and they will back me up 100%......I have experience with this!

Im working on a 70roadrunner that ive been back n forth on what color to paint. I'm thinking B5 candy blue with satin black hood stripes and an alligator pattern black vinyl .

Painter for 40 years and I would never do that. The best way in my opinion is to wet sand with 1500 or. 2000 wet and dry and then polish up with a polisher. Your 600 on a sander is way too coarse and you could go through the clear. Nothing wrong with your method, both methods get the same result. Good job though man.

They're not mistakes. All Challengers are mass produced on the same production line and every challenger is an sxt some just have $75k worth of go fast goodies. The mass produced slap it together bodies dont know the difference.

Hi Brother, as Always your workmanship is outstanding, also enjoy your projects. For the flow coat on both doors, being it was 95*, using slow hardener, 1.3 tip, did you used 5% or 10 % reducer, what was your air pressure set at? Thanks

Thank you Mr. Pharraway. I got driver side of my Elco blocked. I got a few low spots. Minor. I figure one more attempt and finish the gallon of primer, n block one more time should be good. Thats for the minor low. If i run into a really low spot I can swipe a skim coat of glaze on it right? I dont wana go to bare metal right?

So I noticed you have some small pop issues it looks like on the fender. I constantly get that with the glamour clear and I cant seem to find the sweet spot with that clear to avoid them. Last time I sprayed that clear I used my prolite with a te20 cap and I think it was the best results I had, those craters were minimal. They seem to happen around the 3rd coat of clear for me, they always sand out. Just annoying is all.

I have been interested in this technique as long as I can remember, but never learned anything until now! Thank you Brother, this means a lot!👍

@PHARRAWAY can you explain to me what it takes to get this kind of result in a paint job. When I was a teenager their was a guy with a candy blue chrysler, and where I live Im used to seeing candy painted cars all the time so the first few times I saw it I thought nothing of it. One day Im taking the trash out and I had to walk pass the car to get to the dumpster. Up close I could tell this wasnt just some regular degulary paint job. When you look at his hood it was like looking through clean blue water at a beach. The flakes underneath shimmered like sand and it had a great amount of depth between the paint and the silver flakes underneath. It was literally like looking at water i cant explain it any other way.
